Cha0s Magick Labs ("we," "our," or "the Developer") operates the Astral Lab mobile application (the "Application") as a premium, paid, one-time purchase software service.

This Privacy Policy serves as a legally binding disclosure outlining our strict protocols regarding the non-collection, non-use, and non-disclosure of Personal Data. Engineered under a strict "Privacy by Design and by Default" methodology, the Application is structurally incapable of harvesting user information.

By installing and utilizing the Application, you acknowledge the data handling practices described in this policy, which comply with the Google Play Developer Program Policies (including the User Data and Privacy policies), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

2. Information Collection and Use (Privacy by Design)

The Application operates on a Zero-Data Collection Architecture. Pursuant to the principle of data minimization, the Application does not request, harvest, intercept, or store any Personal Data or Non-Personal Data.

• Absence of Personal Identifiers: We do not collect, store, or transmit Personally Identifiable Information (PII), including but not limited to: names, email addresses, physical addresses, telephone numbers, unique device identifiers (e.g., IMEI, Android ID), or IP addresses.

The Application utilizes internal, local mathematical algorithms ($VSOP87$ / $ELP-2000$). User-inputted variables such as precise birth dates, times, and geographic coordinates are processed strictly within the volatile memory (RAM) of your local device and are never transmitted to external cloud infrastructures or remote servers.

• Zero Cloud Footprint: The Application does not maintain backend servers, external databases, or cloud storage environments. Any configuration data or saved astrological profiles reside exclusively within the Application’s isolated, private storage directories on your physical device.

3. Connectivity, Network Absence, and Third-Party Disclosures

To guarantee absolute technical isolation and data sovereignty, the Application completely bypasses external network protocols.

• 100% Offline Architecture: The Application does not declare, request, or utilize the Android android.permission.INTERNET permission within its manifest. By virtue of this hardcoded technical barrier, it is thermodynamically and computationally impossible for the Application to transmit any data outside the perimeter of your physical device.

• Zero Third-Party SDK Integrations: * No Telemetry/Analytics: The Application does not embed Software Development Kits (SDKs) for tracking or behavioral analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase Telemetry, Mixpanel). Your interaction with the app remains entirely anonymous.

  • No Monetization/Ad Networks: The Application features zero third-party advertising networks, preventing cross-app tracking or the profiling of your digital footprint.

  • No In-App Financial Processing: As a paid-upfront application, no financial transactions, payment gateways, or third-party billing processors (which typically require financial data capture) are integrated within the app's internal environment. All initial transactions are handled externally by the Google Play Store commerce platform.

4. System Permissions and Access Control

The Application requests the absolute bare minimum of system permissions required to execute its core offline utility:

• Local Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): If explicitly granted by the user, this permission is leveraged solely to push local, system-scheduled alerts triggered by the app's internal, offline ephemeris system (e.g., planetary ingress alerts). These notifications do not rely on remote push notification servers (like FCM).

• Geographical Data handling (No GPS Utilized): The Application does not request access to device location hardware (e.g., ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION). Geographic coordination for astrological charts is resolved exclusively via user-selected entries from a pre-compiled, static, internal offline database of global coordinates embedded directly within the application package (APK).

5. Data Security and Android Sandboxing

Because Cha0s Magick Labs collects exactly zero bytes of user data, the risk of external data breaches, server-side hacks, or unauthorized third-party exposure is fundamentally mitigated to zero.

The security of the localized data stored on your device depends entirely on the security posture of your Android operating system. The Application relies on native Android application sandboxing, which isolates the app's private storage from other software running on the device, alongside file-based encryption (FBE) provided by the hardware manufacturer.

6. Global Privacy Compliance (Children's Privacy, GDPR, CCPA)

• Children's Privacy (COPPA/GDPR Art. 8): The Application is inherently compliant with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and European Union infant privacy laws. Because the Application is structurally incapable of collecting any information whatsoever, it does not knowingly or unknowingly collect, profile, or process data belonging to children under the age of 13 (or 16 within the EU).

• EU/UK Data Subjects (GDPR): Since no data processing occurs on our infrastructure, Cha0s Magick Labs does not act as a "Data Controller" or "Data Processor" under the GDPR. Your data control rights (Right to Access, Erasure, Portability) are automatically exercised, as you maintain 100% control over the local files on your device.
