The App operates primarily by processing and storing data locally on your device. This includes:

• App Usage Data: Information related to your interactions within the App, such as your chosen strobe patterns, session types, frequency settings, session duration, progression level, XP earned, and achievement progress. This data is used solely to provide and improve your experience within the App (e.g., to track your progress, unlock new features, and personalize settings) and is stored exclusively on your device.
• Preferences: Any settings you configure within the App are saved locally on your device to ensure a consistent experience across sessions.

This local data is not transmitted to us or any third parties. If you uninstall the App, this local data may be deleted, unless backed up by your device's operating system (e.g., Android's built-in backup features).

3. How We Use Your Information (Locally)

The information generated by your use of the App is used exclusively on your device for the following purposes:

• To enable the core functionality of the App, such as running induction sessions.
• To track your in-app progress, statistics, and achievements.
• To personalize your experience, for example, by remembering your last used settings.
• To improve the App's features and performance based on your local usage patterns (without transmitting any data externally).

4. Data Sharing

User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your use of this App and for determining whether it is safe for you to use. We disclaim all liability for any adverse effects or consequences resulting from the use of this App, particularly in individuals with pre-existing medical conditions.

Under the Influence: Do not use this App if you are under the influence of alcohol, recreational drugs, or any medication that may impair your cognitive functions or increase your sensitivity to visual stimuli.

8. Children's Privacy

Dreamachine is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personal information from a child under the age of 13, we will delete such information from our records.

Cha0sMagick Labs (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the PSI Gym mobile application (the “Application”). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our Application under United States law.

By downloading or using the Application, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Application.

1. Information Collection and Local Storage

The Application is designed as a local personal training and statistical tool. We adhere to a strict Privacy by Design principle:

• No Personal Information Collected: We do not collect, request, or store any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) as defined by US federal and state laws (such as your name, email address, phone number, unique device identifiers, or precise geolocation).

• Local Data Storage: All data generated by your training sessions—including attempts, successes, statistical values ($p$-value, Z-Score, coherence, hit patterns), and session timestamps—is stored exclusively and locally on your device utilizing an internal Android Room database.

• Interface Preferences: Customization settings, such as card back designs or language preferences, are stored locally on your device via SharedPreferences.

2. Use of Information

Because all data remains on your local device, Cha0sMagick Labs does not access, view, or use your data. The Application processes your locally stored data automatically and solely to:

• Generate performance and progress statistics within the "Neural Records" dashboard.

• Calculate probability and accuracy metrics ($Z$-Score, Coherence, Effect).

• Persist visual and interface preferences.

3. Third-Party Data Sharing and Transfers

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your data to third parties.

• No Cloud Servers: Your data is never transmitted to external servers or cloud environments managed by us or any third-party analytics providers.

• Operating System Backups: Your data remains strictly on your device unless you independently initiate an operating system backup (e.g., Google Account Backup) that includes application data. Such backups are governed by your agreement with your mobile operating system provider.

4. User Control and Data Retention (California and US State Privacy Rights)

Although we do not collect or control your data on external servers, we fully support your rights to data deletion and autonomy under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and other US state privacy laws:

• Permanent Deletion: You can permanently and irreversibly delete all training records at any time by selecting the "RESET ALL DATA" option within the Statistics (Neural Records) section of the Application.

• Uninstallation: Uninstalling the Application via your Android system controls will automatically purge all locally stored databases and preferences associated with the Application.

5. Children’s Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

The Application is a general audience utility intended for individuals interested in perception training and statistical analysis. We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA):

• We do not knowingly collect, maintain, or request personal information from children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions).

• Since the Application collects zero personal information from any user, no such data is processed or exposed. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information in error via support channels, please contact us immediately.

We value the security of your local data. The Application utilizes the isolated sandbox environment provided by the Android Operating System, which prevents unauthorized applications from accessing its internal storage.
